NEXT LEVEL: Tori Salazar Signs with California Intercontinental
IRVINE, Calif. - Allan Hancock College infielder, Tori Salazar, has signed on to continue her academic and athletic career at California Intercontinental University next season.
"I chose California Intercontinental because I loved the welcoming environment and the area. The coaches stood out to me because not only do they genuinely care about softball, but they also care deeply about my well-being and success in earning my degree," Salazar shared. "That support made all the difference in my decision."
Salazar, a two-time All-Conference Honorable Mention selection, wrapped up her final season with the Bulldogs in April. The sophomore product of Ernest Righetti High School posted a .381 batting average this season and led the team with 16 stolen bases. She tallied four doubles and two triples on 37 hits while driving in nine runs.
"My time at AHC taught me resiliency by pushing me to overcome challenges and adapt to my new situation. It helped build my confidence through continuous learning and success," Salazar added. "Additionally, it developed my fortitude by encouraging me to stay determined and focused, even when faced with difficulties, preparing me well for success at the next level.
The Falcons compete as an independent school with no NCAA or NAIA affiliation, and they are a member of the Gulf-Atlantic Athletic Conference.
