Bulldogs Explode for 20 in Run-Rule Rout of Santa Monica
SANTA MARIA, Calif. — Allan Hancock softball delivered an offensive outburst on Tuesday, rolling to a 20-2 run-rule victory over Santa Monica College. BOX SCORE
The Bulldogs wasted no time setting the tone at the plate, piling up 14 hits and putting pressure on the Corsairs all game long. Every starter drove in at least one run, highlighting a complete team effort in the batter's box.
Addy Creath led the charge with a monster day, going 4-for-4 and finishing just a double shy of the cycle. Tori Salazar and Ciena Acosta each drove in three runs, helping fuel the Bulldogs' offensive surge.
In the circle, Acosta and Havanah Michel combined to keep Santa Monica in check. The duo split the game and allowed just one earned run across five innings, efficiently navigating traffic and backing the Bulldogs' big lead with steady pitching.
With contributions up and down the lineup and a dominant showing in the circle, Hancock put together one of its most complete performances of the season.
The Lady Bulldogs return to action at home with a conference matchup with Ventura College at 1pm, Thursday March 26th.
