SANTA MARIA, CA - The Bulldogs split the day with San Bernardino Valley, riding a dominant Game 1 performance before falling in a high-action Game 2.
GAME 1 | BOX SCORE
Allan Hancock set the tone early in the opener with a 6-1 victory behind a complete-game gem from Ciena Acosta. The right-hander went all seven innings, punching out nine and keeping the Wolverines off balance all afternoon. Offensively, the Bulldogs strung together quality at-bats up and down the lineup. Tori Salazar, Dezirae Rodriguez, and Addy Creath each recorded doubles and multiple hits, with Creath leading the charge in a big way—finishing 3-for-4 with three RBIs to pace the attack.
GAME 2 | BOX SCORE The nightcap saw the Bulldogs stay hot at the plate, but defensive miscues proved costly in the split. The top four spots in the lineup all recorded multiple hits, continuing the offensive momentum from Game 1. Creath stayed locked in, launching a triple and a home run while driving in four runs in another standout performance. Havanah Michel battled in the circle and kept Hancock in the game, but six Bulldog errors created extra opportunities that San Bernardino Valley capitalized on.
The Lady Bulldogs return to action March 23rd vs. Taft College for a Doubleheader.
