SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College softball team earned a split on the road at Coalinga, powered by a dominant pitching performance in game one and a power surge in game two.
Game 1 – BOX OUT
Hancock secured the opener behind a complete-game effort from Havana Michel, who twirled seven innings to earn the win. Michel scattered seven hits, walked three, and struck out six, controlling the pace and working out of traffic when needed.
Offensively, the Bulldogs delivered timely production. Addy Creath came through with a two-RBI double, providing a key swing that helped separate Hancock and maintain control throughout the game.
Behind Michel's steady presence in the circle and clutch hitting at the plate, the Bulldogs locked down the first half of the doubleheader.
Game 2 – BOX SCORE
In the nightcap, Addy Creath supplied the offense with two solo home runs, showcasing her power and keeping Hancock within striking distance.
However, the Bulldogs were unable to generate sustained offense beyond Creath's blasts. Coalinga capitalized on their opportunities, and Hancock ultimately fell in game two to split the doubleheader.
The Lady Bulldogs return to action March 3rd on the road at Bakersfield College for a Doubleheader.
