GLENDALE, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's soccer team battled back from a first-half deficit to earn a 1–1 draw on the road at Glendale College on Friday evening. | BOX SCORE
The hosting Vaqueros (3-1-4) struck first in the 23rd minute and maintained the lead through to the halftime break. AHC (3-3-4) answered after the break and leveled the match in the 58th when Ronnie Ayala buried a penalty kick to even the score at 1-1.
The Bulldogs' defense and goalkeeper Max Brewster were kept busy throughout, as Glendale fired 17 total shots with 10 landing on frame. Brewster stood tall with eight saves, including five in the first half, to preserve the result. Caleb Toledo and Diego Santos combined for four of AHC's eight total shots, three of which landed on target.
GCC outshot the Hancock, 17-8, and held a 7-3 advantage on the edge of the field.
