GAME RECAP: AHC — LONG BEACH CITY |BOX SCORE
After falling behind early, the Bulldogs responded with timely offense and dominant bullpen work to secure the comeback victory.
Long Beach City jumped out to a 4–0 lead in the second inning, but Hancock quickly answered and began chipping away at the deficit.
Cesar Garcia led the offensive charge, finishing with a three-hit performance that included a two-RBI double and an RBI single, driving in three runs on the afternoon. Parker Schwake added a key swing of his own, blasting his second home run of the season to help fuel the Bulldogs' comeback.
On the mound, Hancock's bullpen was the difference. The relief corps combined to throw 7.1 innings of one-run baseball, shutting the door on any Long Beach rally attempts. Brycen Hurtado anchored the effort, striking out eight batters over four innings of work to keep the Bulldogs firmly in control down the stretch.
The complete team effort allowed Hancock to overcome the early hole and close out a hard-earned road win.
