Andre Scott enters his first season at the helm of the women's basketball program and will serve in an interim role during the 2022-23 campaign.

Scott previously served at the helm of the women's basketball program at Missouri Valley College for three seasons before relocating to the Santa Maria community. His program produced eight All-Conference selections, along with one NAIA All-American. Before being elevated to the head coaching role, Scott spent one season as an assistant coach for the women's program and two seasons as a graduate assistant on the men's side at MVC. 

Scott also spent two seasons as a student-athlete at Missouri Valley, playing for the men's basketball program from 2013-2015, and won a Heart Postseason Championship with the program in 2015 while helping the team to a second round appearance at the NAIA Division I Men's Basketball National Tournament. Prior to his time at MVC, Scott spent two seasons as a member of the men's basketball team at Wentworth (Mo.) Military Academy & College where he was tabbed as an NJCAA All-American.

Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Scott earned his bachelor's degree in business management from Missouri Valley and received his master's degree in Sports Management from the University of Central Missouri.
